Development of film poster

I have looked at these two posters in order to develop my ideas and helped me to see what I need to include in a poster.

From the vantage point poster i have taken the idea of a silhoette with all the images and most of the text inside it. The use of purely black and white except for parts of the title makes the image more provocative.

The Departed movie poster helped to reinforce my idea of putting images in a silhoette, this is for the motion picture sound track but is still useful as it is still promoting the film and allows me to see how films are advertised through secondary products and how it may relate to the original movie.

For my final piece I will take aspects from both of these images and use them to create a poster using the silhoette of a person with the text inside but I will try and blend there faces into each other instead of using the lines to divide them but may still use the lines to seperate my pieces of text.
